POST 5: Changes to my study program
To be honest, I feel that it is quite difficult to change my study program because its bases have been maintained for years and I think that when that is the case, it is unlikely to achieve it. But since I have the opportunity to think about a change for the program, I personally would like to change the workshop class, this mainly because I feel there is no balance in the quality of learning, since there are some sections of this class in which you can learn or they teach you more, while on the other hand in others it is quite difficult to do so. Personally, the first workshop classes I had were very artistic and abstract, so I feel that left me at a certain disadvantage compared to other classmates at the same level. In theory classes we all generally have similar foundations that help us to be in a certain balance, so I think that would be the main change that I would like to make to the study program.
On the other hand, although I feel satisfied with the way the theoretical classes are done, I would also like to make a change in these, and that is that many times they simply remain theoretical, and I think it would be much more useful to put it in practice. It is true that many times it is not the teachers' decision due to some factors, but for example I feel that it has been more interesting and educational when in some classes I have had the opportunity to go out into the field or take some small trips, I think it is more stimulating than limit yourself to being in a classroom, especially in a career like architecture.
I agree with you on the change of workshop class. It's important that we learn similar things.
ResponderEliminarI totally agree with the workshop, I feel that the level of teaching between sections is very uneven.
